Stafford announces new appointments and office opening in Korea
London, UK , January 31, 2019 — Stafford is pleased to announce five new appointments made during the second half of 2018, as well as the opening of an office in Seoul, Korea.
Three new team members joined in Client Solutions, the area of our business responsible for supporting our client relationships as well as new business development. These appointments include:
Jungwoo Ahn, who has joined as Head of Client Solutions, Asia based in Seoul. Jungwoo has opened Stafford’s Seoul office to strengthen our relationships with clients in the Asian market. Prior to joining Stafford, he was at Neuberger Berman and before that began his career in alternatives as an Analyst at Hana Financial Investment.
Ashley Arndt, joins as VP Client Solutions, North America based in Austin. Ashley joins the team from DW Partners where she worked within the business development and client relations team. Previously, Ashley was Director of Investor Relations at Meritage Capital, a boutique investment management firm specialising in differentiated hedge fund solutions.
Ruchi Jha, joins as Client Solutions Analyst, based in our London office. Ruchi joins from Ecofin where she was responsible for business development and investor relations. Previously, Ruchi spent four years as an Investment Analyst involved in investment research, valuations and due diligence at a private equity firm in India.
We have also strengthened our investment capabilities with new additions in our office in Austin, Texas, with:
Ron Heinz, joining as Investment Manager, based in Austin. Ron is responsible for deal sourcing and investment due diligence within the Private Markets team. Ron has over eight years of investment management experience, including working as a Principal at Sweetwater Capital Partners, a boutique private equity secondaries firm and prior to that, he also held investment roles at StepStone Global and Signal Peak Ventures.
Bryan Buter, also joining as Investment Manager in Austin, responsible for relationship management, sourcing and investment due diligence within the Private Markets team, focusing on Credit opportunities. Bryan has ten years of experience spanning Bank of America, Wells Fargo Securities and Barclays Capital.
